Looking for an Easter treat that even the grownups can enjoy this year? You simply can’t go past these Rocky Road Truffle Eggs – truffles packed with a delicious blend of glace cherries, marshmallows and nuts – mmm mouth-watering!
½ cup cream
2 tbsp caster sugar
200g classis milk cooking chocolate
¼ cup white choc bits
¼ cup chopped glace cherries
¼ cup mini marshmallows
¼ cup chopped roasted macadamia nuts
½ cup shredded coconut
375g Nestle milk chocolate melts, melted
100g Nestle white chocolate melts, melted
- Heat cream and sugar in pan, bring to boil, simmer for four minutes, stirring constantly, cool for two 2 minutes. Add classic milk cooking chocolate, stir until melted, cool.
- Combine Nestle White chocolate bits, glace cherries, marshmallows, nuts and coconut in bowl; stir in chocolate mixture.
- Shape tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls, refrigerate until set.
- Coat truffles with Nestle milk melts, place on a tray lined with baking paper. Drizzle with Nestle white chocolate melts. Refrigerate until set.
